BDA Executive Director Mohammad S. Yacob said in a statement that the passage of BBL is very important for the agency.
“As development arm of the MILF, we are one with the Bangsamoro people for the approval of the BBL. We are concern on the development projects and programs that will be implemented for the anticipated Bangsamoro government”, Dir. Yacob noted.
He further stated that the government should listen to the voices of these people who have sustained their unity for the call for self-governance.
“At BDA, we had been implementing community-driven development (CDD) programs wherein people choose what project will benefit them based on their needs. We hope that our government will likewise consider this collective aspiration of the Bangsamoro to decide and live by themselves”, he ended.
BDA is a development agency established in 2002 working for relief and rehabilitation of the conflict-affected areas in Mindanao.
